So sorry you experienced an issue with your knife. All our knives come with a razor edge, however please email [****] if you feel your knife blade was not sharp. Additionally, this is not a filet knife but can be used on larger fish. We also have a sharpening video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvUrl50urk8

Mu husband bought as a gift. Pretty but not very sharp. Tried to filet fish and wouldn't hardly break skin. A bit pricey for this knife. Can't attach picture

this is a well balanced and sharp knife. I love using it, It feels very durable. I use it all the time to make short work of cutting, and dicing vegetables. It will be around for a long time.

Being native to Texas, are really love the history of the hash knife. it is a shame we can’t find too many of those out in the market and good luck. I find them and a thrift shop or antique shop. I was watching Kent Rollins YouTube channel brushing up on my recipes I’m listening to his veteran Day tribute(to which I’m very thankful for) when I came across this on his website. To be fair I wasn’t very excited about the price, however once it came in the mail, and I had the opportunity to use it gosh worth every penny. And don’t let looks fool you, the pictures taken of those knife can’t do it justice. And even though it may not look as sharp as some of the kitchen knives, thanks again! I was in the middle of cleaning it, and this hash knife went through three layers of paper towels and skinned my finger(total my fault lol). So with all that said, this is now my specialty knife and my go to knife to pack whenever I’m camping a traveling. I look forward to passing us on to the next generation of my family.
