Hot Honey Glazed Cast Iron Carrots
This is one of those sides that disappears before anything else. Tender carrots, glazed with hot honey, seasoned with Rib Rub or your favorite BBQ seasoning.
We appreciate you sharing our recipes with your friends and family!
Hot Honey Glazed Carrots are a great side dish for a big meal like Easter - not only does the Easter bunny enjoy it, but you can get a helper to dice up the carrots for you. Throw them in the skillet and they cook up fast and easy. You can also keep them warm for a long time without them getting soggy, so you can put them over on low heat or a warming plate and work on other dishes.
Glazed Hot Honey Carrots
Start by cooking sliced carrots in a cast iron skillet with butter and a little olive oil. Cover and cook until they’re fork tender, stirring now and then.
Once the liquid cooks down, stir in hot honey and your seasoning. Let it cook just a few minutes more to glaze everything up. That's all there is to it!
Tip: Cooking covered first helps soften the carrots. Finishing uncovered lets that glaze stick and shine.
