7 Layer Bean Dip
Howdy folks, and thanks for stopping by the website! The printable recipe for 7 Layer Bean Dip is at the bottom of this blog. Here are a few ideas of ways to cowboy up your 7 layer dish so it becomes the belle of the backyard barbecue.
Pretty Up the Refried Beans
Instead of spreading canned refried beans along the bottom of the dish, add them to a medium warm cooking pot with some cream cheese and taco seasoning. Bonus points for using Kent Rollins' Taco Seasoning. ;)
We appreciate you sharing our recipes with your friends and family!
Heat the bean mixture until the cheese is incorporated throughout and then layer along the bottom of a casserole dish.
Level Up the Sour Cream
Go to your grocery store's dairy section and grab the best french onion/green onion dip you can find. Use that in place of sour cream.
Tip: Mash the avocado/guacamole with a tater masher.
Make Fresh Guacamole
Here's our Guacamole recipe: Taco Salad and Guacamole
Mash up the avocado with Roma tomatoes, white onion, and pickled jalapeno. Simple and delicious!
Finish off with drained chunky Rotel tomatoes, 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, and crumble 10 strips of cooked bacon over the top. Garnish with green onions and black olives, if that's your kind of thing.
For incredible flavor, add a layer of our Cowboy Chutney.
