15 Minute Refried Beans
Canned refried beans are ok, but with a little love, they can be great. This recipe is short, but it will make all the difference - and no one will believe it only took fifteen minutes!
Start with canned refried beans or canned pinto beans. If you're using canned pinto beans, drain them before you start. Melt some butter in a skillet and cook 1/2 cup onion until tender. Add the beans into the skillet and mash until they're smooth in texture. Add the sour cream, green chilies, and taco seasoning. Top with one cup of shredded Cheddar cheese and bake at 400 until cheese is melted. Garnish with green onions, and serve.
