We were honored to make the family recipe for cowboy cookies when filming Cast Iron Cowboy at the Circle L Ranch!
Ingredients
-
1 cup butter, softened
-
1/2 cup granulated sugar
-
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
-
2 eggs
-
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
-
1 1/2 cups flour
-
2 cups rolled oats
-
1/2 cup raisins
-
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
-
1/2 cups chopped up original jerky
-
3/4 cups Chopped Pecans
-
1 (12 oz) Pkg. Chocolate Chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine well butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Mix remaining ingredients.
Drop by Tablespoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 -15 minutes or until the edges are brown.
