Cowboy Green Beans - Cowboy Kent Rollins

Ingredients

  • 5 slices thick bacon cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 lb frozen or fresh green beans
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Kent’s Original seasoning or seasoning of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions

  • Add the bacon to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until about ¾ browned.
  • Stir in the green beans, chicken broth, seasoning, butter and liquid smoke.
  • Cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until the green beans just become tender.
